## Why it matters

1. **Accessibility**: For screen reader users, an H1 heading is the primary entry point to understand what the document is about. It's crucial for navigating and comprehending the content.
2. **Document Structure**: The H1 heading sets the stage for the document's structure, much like a book's title. It helps in organizing the content logically.
3. **Search Engine Optimization**: For documents available online, having a clear H1 heading can aid in search engine recognition and ranking.

## How to fix

1. **Review Your Document**: Open your PDF and check the first heading. It should be marked as H1, clearly indicating the main topic or title of the document.
